  • Cristiano Ronaldo is settling in to life in Saudi Arabia after completing a lucrative move
  • He is looking ahead to his debut in Saudi Arabia which could come against Lionel Messi's PSG
  • The 37 year old proved his physical fitness by jumping the highest during a training session

Cristiano Ronaldo departed Europe and made a switch to the Middle East to continue writing the story of a decorated and arguably one of the best football careers.

The Portuguese international signed for Saudi Pro League club Al-Nassr after weeks of speculation regarding his future after his contract with Manchester United was terminated.

He is awaiting his debut for his new club and that has not stopped him from stepping up his physical fitness. He proved why he is a fitness machine by rising the highest to meet a ball at the training.

Ronaldo's work ethic and physical fitness has been praised on many occasions by past managers and teammates, and used as a lesson for other footballers as noted by Sportskeeda.

At 37, soon to be 38 in a few days and being the oldest member of the Al-Nassr squad, he defied age by rising the highest to meet an aerial ball during a training session for his new club.

The former Madrid star held the record for the highest jump for a header with 2.56m before losing the record to Youssef En-Nesyri, in Morocco's 1-0 win over Portugal at the World Cup, as revealed by Mirror.

Piers Morgan defends Ronaldo's Saudi move

Sports Brief earlier reported that British broadcaster Piers Morgan defended Ronaldo's Al-Nassr transfer, after reactions from fans he is finished to have made the move to the Middle Eastern country.

Morgan, who hosted the interview that led to Ronaldo's contract at Manchester United getting terminated, claimed his friend is playing in the only country that defeated world champions Argentina at the Qatar 2022 World Cup.

His logic may be wide off the mark, but with the Madeira born superstar proving his physical fitness ahead of younger teammates, it can not be said that he is finished.
