English giants Manchester United are exploring the option of signing Ghana's World Cup star Mohammed Kudus in the winter transfer window.

The in-demand 22-year-old will cost the Red Devils around 40 million Euros after his value rose following his outstanding performances this season.

According to the Mirror, the Ajax star is seen as a possible option in attack following the departure of Cristiano Ronaldo.

Manager Erik ten Hag signed the Ghana international for Ajax during his time in Holland and worked with the midfielder for two seasons.

Kudus has been on the radar of several clubs after an impressive World Cup, where he scored two goals and provided an assist for the Black Stars in three games.

In Holland, the former FC Nordsjaelland player, who plays as a makeshift forward has scored five goals in the Eredivisie. He also has four goals to his credit in the UEFA Champions League.

While ten Hag seems to have settled in England, bring Kudus to Old Trafford will strengthen his team.

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Ajax star Mohammed Kudus has returned to Ghana for holidays before the resumption of the Dutch Eredivisie next year.

The 22-year-old was Ghana's brightest spot at the just ended World Cup in Qatar, and he is currently on the radar of several clubs.

Kudus scored two goals and provided an assist in three matches as the Black Stars suffered group stage elimination.
