Ajax star Mohammed Kudus has returned to Ghana for holidays before the resumption of the Dutch Eredivisie next year.

The 22-year-old was Ghana's brightest spot at the just ended World Cup in Qatar, and he is currently on the radar of several clubs.

Kudus scored two goals and provided an assist in three matches as the Black Stars suffered group stage elimination.

After the tournament, Kudus returned to the Netherlands for mid-season training but has been given some days off for the festive period.

In a video that has since gone viral on social media, Kudus is seen playing football with his community folks in Accra.

Hundreds of fans around his hometown of Nima came out to watch and celebrate the Ajax star.

Kudus' future in the Netherlands seems to be coming to an end with some of the tops clubs across Europe in search of his signature after his World Cup heroics.

Manchester United, Everton, Liverpool and Dortmund have all been reported to be interested in the former Right to Dream Academy graduate.

The latest to join the race is English Premier League leaders Arsenal.

Kudus honoured in Ghana

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Black Stars midfielder Mohammed Kudus has been rewarded with a gold medal by the Western Reginal Minister, Kwabena Okyere Darko-Mensah, following his exploits at the World Cup in Qatar.

Kudus was Ghana's brightest spot at the tournament, scoring two goals and providing an assist in three games. The Ajax star won Ghana a penalty in the decider against Uruguay which was missed by captain Andre Ayew.

His contribution to the team was duly recognized after he arrived in Ghana following the team's exit.

Kudus resumes training at Ajax

Black Stars midfielder Mohammed Kudus has returned to Amsterdam for mid-season training following Ghana's elimination from the World Cup.

The Ghana World Cup star rejoined his Ajax teammates at sports complex de Toekomst as preparations begin ahead of the return of the Dutch Eredivisie.

Kudus went through the necessary drills alongside Ajax's two other internationals Dusan Tadic and Jorge Sanchez.
