Cristiano Ronaldo has made a bold statement about the Saudi Arabia Professional League, after completing his move to Al-Nassr.
Ronaldo touched down in the gulf country in the wee hours of Monday, January 2, before completing his mandatory medicals.
Despite shocking many with his unexpected switch to Asia, Ronaldo reckons the Saudi top flight is as competitive as any elite league in Europe.
"This is not the end for me. The Saudi Arabian League is very competitive. I know people don't know that," he said at his maiden press conference, as quoted by Football Tweet.

The 37-year-old is believed to have become the highest-paid footballer after inking his signature to a two-and-a-half-year deal with Al-Nassr.
He is expected to team up with ex-FC Porto and Cameroon marksman, Vincent Aboubakar as the Knights of Najd aim to end their four-year league drought.
