Al-Nassr who are Saudi Arabian club have started seeing the great importance of them signing Cristiano Ronaldo following the dramatic rise in their social media pages.

Ronaldo has not even play his first match for the club and fans have started buying his jersey and the demand to get his shirt is at the high.

Before Al-Nassr announced the signing of Ronaldo on free transfer, their followers on Instagram was 860K, but just two days after, it has risen to over 6M.

Ronaldo himself has the biggest followers on Instagram and this means that many of his fans are now following Al-Nassr because of their hero.

It will be recalled that Ronaldo had issues with those in charge at Manchester United before his contract was terminated by the Red Devils.

He traveled to Qatar with Portugal for the 2022 World Cup as clubless player and efforts for him to win the title were futile as his country got knocked out in the quarter-final.

Ronaldo wets appetite of fans

Earlier, Sports Brief had reported how Cristiano Ronaldo embarked on a private jet to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia ahead of his new adventure in the gulf region.

The former Manchester United superstar was announced as Al Nassr's latest acquisition in a mouthwatering deal reported to be worth 200 million euros.

After inking a deal which makes him the highest-paid footballer in the world, Ronaldo will be officially presented to the club's teeming fans in a lavish ceremony on Tuesday, January 3.

Chomping at the bit before his unveiling, the 37-year-old sent a brief message to his followers and the fans of Al Nassr.

In a video shared on social media, seen by Sports Brief, Ronaldo intimated "see you soon Nassr fans" before adding his characteristic smile accompanied by a thumbs-up.
