Manchester United shot-stopper David De Gea recently thrilled fans with an unorthodox save, during his side’s clash against Nottingham Forest.
United’s current longest-serving player in the squad was typically selected by Erik ten Hag to start between the sticks, in his side’s first game since the World Cup.
He ended up keeping a clean sheet on Tuesday, December 27, as his side claimed an important 3-0 win to close the gap on fourth-placed Tottenham with a game in hand.
The Red Devils went 2-0 up thanks to goals from Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial, with the duo in superb form on the night.

Forest then had a half-chance of their own, as Ryan Yates struck a long-range effort which was dealt with by De Gea in strange fashion.
Instead of saving traditionally using his hands, De Gea decided to use his chest instead, as reported by The Sun.
The ball appeared to have swerved mid-flight, forcing De Gea to adjust himself to make the save, hence the peculiar chest technique.
Of course, hawk-eyed fans who witnessed the incident were quick to point it out on social media:
"Bro De Gea is so fed up with accepting shots with his hands so he's decided to chest balls now. My goalkeeper," one fan joked.
"Chest save from De Gea never seen that before from him," another added.
According to Spanish outlet AS, Casemiro was equally as stunned, as he asked his goalkeeper why and how he decided to parry the ball using his chest.
