Chelsea have reportedly sealed the transfer of Molde star David Datro Fofana in a £10.5million transfer deal.

The Blues are keen to reinforce their squad ahead of the January transfer window, with Graham Potter looking for new additions.

The Premier League giants now seem to have completed their first piece of transfer business in the shape of Datro Fofana.

The move has since been confirmed by transfer guru Fabrizio Romano, who revealed the deal is done as an agreement has already been reached.

"David Datro Fofana to Chelsea, done deal and here we go," he tweeted.
"There’s full agreement between all parties, deal sealed. Been told medical tests will take place today in London, on his birthday.
"Born in 2002, Ivorian striker will join Chelsea from Molde for €12m fee," he added.

Chelsea closes in on Andrey Santos

The development comes just hours after it emerged that Chelsea are closing in on a transfer deal for Vasco Da Gama midfielder Andrey Santos.

According to Metro UK, Santos has courted interest from top European clubs, including Paris Saint-Germain, Barcelona, Newcastle United and Manchester City.

However, it is Chelsea who seem to have won the race to sign him, with reports suggesting a deal has already been reached.

Brazilian outlet Globo claims the West Londoners are set to fork out €20 million (£17.5m) to sign Santos.

Chelsea won't panic buy in January

Sports Brief earlier reported that Chelsea won't panic in the winter market despite having Pierre Emerick Aubameyang as the only recognized striker.

The Blues were first reported to want to push Nkunku's transfer to January but with an injury of his own, it makes no sense bringing him to the club early.

Graham Potter will have to compete for the rest of the season with limited options with Chelsea still active in the FA Cup and the Champions League.
