Nigerian international Odion Ighalo was on the score sheet, as Al Hilal thrashed Al Ettifaq 4-0 in a Saudi Arabia Kings Cup last 16 encounter on Wednesday.
The Super Eagles forward broke the deadlock for his side in the 12th minute, after he was set up by Mohammed Alburayk.
He was on the pitch for 61 minutes before being replaced by Abdullah Otayf.
The 33-year-old has now scored eight goals and recorded one assist in 14 appearances across all competitions for Al Hilal this season. Alburayk, Luciano Vietto and Michael scored the other goals for Ramon Diaz’s side.

Al Hilal will now shift their attention to next Monday’s league clash against Al Nassr, Complete Sports reports.
Ighalo and mom are inseparable
Meanwhile, Nigerian international Ighalo and his mother seem inseparable, as both have been seen together on several occasions.
The Super Eagles striker will do anything to show off his mother, and she was seen praying for him to have continued success as he departed for his team base in Saudi Arabia.
In the latest footage shared on his Instagram Stories, the Al Hilal striker was held by his mother, who looked emotional as he prepared to depart on another phase of his international journey.

Sports Brief earlier reported that Super Eagles striker Ighalo has urged Cristiano Ronaldo to move to the Saudi Arabia and join a league club in the country, claiming the Portuguese veteran will enjoy himself there.
