Ozil sends Saka message

However, Ozil has urged Saka not to feel despondent following England's elimination from the tournament.

In a tweet sent by Ozil, the former Real Madrid ace insisted that Southgate's England are on the right path and they have a genuine world star in the shape of Saka.

"You don't need to feel ashamed Team England. A strong performance against the current World Champion, and good defending against Mbappe & Co. but France very effective as always," Ozil tweeted.
"Great game from my brother @BukayoSaka87 - the future belongs to you," he added.

Mbappe's reaction to Kane's miss

Sports Brief earlier reported on Kylian Mbappe's priceless reaction after Kane's shocking penalty miss in the 85th minute.

When Kane blazed the penalty over the bar, the Paris Saint-Germain star, who is the current top scorer at the World Cup, celebrated wildly, knowing the job was almost done.

In a video shared on Twitter, the 23-year-old was full of unbridled joy as he yelled and posed as if he had scored a match-winning goal.

Fortunately for him, the tie ended in favour of France as the cup holders set up a crunch clash against Morocco in the semis.
