As the players appeared on the balcony of the opulent Hotel de Crillon, enthusiastic fans gathered at the Place de la Concorde square set off fireworks, waved French tricolore flags, and screamed the French national anthem.
According to Sky News, team captain, Hugo Lloris, and manager Didier Deschamps waved to the crowd before being joined by Kylian Mbappe, who drew a thunderous cheer from spectators.
