Lionel Messi continues to make history.

The Argentinian captain opened the scoring for his side against France, and once again set a new record in the process.

The Paris Saint Germain attacker became the first person to score in every stage of a single tournament.

Messi scored in the group stages, Round of 16, quarter final, semi-final and now the final.

He also took his tally to six goals in the tournament, currently one more than France's Kylian Mbappe.
