The Ndola’s Levy Mwanawasa Stadium witnessed the moment a swarm of bees disrupted a Zambian Super League match.
For more than 30 minutes, players of Forest Rangers and Zesco United were unable to play as the bees sacked everyone on the field of play, including the referee.
It was gathered that ‘millions’ of bees were spotted in all directions as they eventually found their way onto the pitch.
Fortunately, play was resumed and there was no reported casualty, Zambian Football reports.

The match ended goalless as George Lwandamina took charge of Zesco United for the first time since his return.
Royal AM owner unhappy
Meanwhile, Royal AM owner Shauwn Mkhize is not happy.
MaMkhize gave an update on the status of goalkeeper Patrick Nyame, who was rendered comatose after a collision in the DStv Premiership match against SuperSport United.
