The Dane coach was a defender of the rights of persons living with disability in the country. His defence was sparked by an incident in one of Denmark's facilities for persons with intellectual disabilities.

"Denmark have signed up to the UN's convention on the rights of persons with disabilities to ensure that everyone in Denmark, notwithstanding which disability they have, have the same possibilities to live a meaningful life."

Despite his age, Kasper Hjulmand is the man in the hot seat to lead the Danish squad to prosperous heights in the 2022 Qatar World Cup. The Dane fan base is highly optimistic about their squad, especially considering that Cristian Eriksen returned to the squad after the incident at the Euros.
