Juventus forward Angel Di Maria was among the scorers as Argentina dispatched United Arab Emirates, in La Albiceleste's final preparatory game ahead of the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

Di Maria grabbed a brace while Manchester City sensation Julian Alvarez, Lionel Messi and Joaquin Correa added solitary strikes to ensure Argentina secured a confidence-boosting 5-0 result ahead of the Mundial.

Despite the litany of goals scored by the two-time World champions, the Juventus ace's first goal has caught the attention of social media users.

What next for Di Maria?

Di Maria's Argentina have been drawn into Group C alongside Asian side Saudi Arabia, regular participants Mexico, and Robert Lewandowski's Poland, The Sporting News reports.

The Juventus man will hope to help Argentina, winners of the 1978 and 1986 editions of the World Cup, win the Mundial in Qatar. The competition kicks off November 20.

The seven-time Ballon d'Or winner then netted one of his own in the 44th minute, outclassing two players to get on the scoresheet.
