According to Sportskeeda, former AC Milan midfielder and Brazilian icon Kaka has now tipped Paris Saint-Germain forward Neymar as the heir to both players, due to his qualities.

"I would like Neymar to be anointed as their heir, this time around, considering his talent and the person and player he has become."

Neymar has been in spectacular form for PSG so far this season. The Brazilian scored 15 goals and provided 12 assists in just 19 appearances for the Ligue 1 champions.

Neymar consoles Coutinho after cut

Meanwhile, PSG forward Neymar has sent a message of consolation to his fellow countryman and Aston Villa midfielder Coutinho, after he was cut from Brazil’s World Cup squad, HITC reports.

When it comes to the upcoming Mundial, Coutinho said via Instagram that he will be 'in the heart and soul cheering like other Brazilians', despite being sidelined for several weeks due to an injury.

He is yet to register a goal or an assist for Villa this season, with Neymar commenting on his post with the consoling words ‘I love you, ace’.

Neymar makes bold goal prediction

The Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) attacker is looking forward to the global tournament and has made a vow to score multiple times in Qatar.

Neymar was recently asked how many goals he expected to score during the World Cup, to which he replied, 'at least 5 goals.’
