Manchester United star Cristiano Ronaldo reportedly told a friend he could join PSG in a stunning move next summer.

Ronaldo and his agent Jorge Mendes reportedly held talks with the Red Devils in the summer about a possible move for the 37-year-old, but the club apparently insisted they didn't want him to go.

Ronaldo's PSG interest

According to an explosive report, Ronaldo reportedly told a friend that he could see himself in a PSG jersey and he would link up with Neymar, Kylian Mbappe and Lionel Messi, forming the most dangerous frontline in football.

According to Le'Equipe, via the Sun, he said the move is a possibility.

"The door is open. Only with the Portuguese from the Paris region, the club could fill the stadium. I see myself well at the Parc des Princes, in front of fifty thousand Portuguese. That would be great."

Ronaldo's contract expires next summer, and he is expected to leave the club because of his strained relationship with Erik ten Hag.

Osimhen to replace Cristiano Ronaldo?

Sports Brief also reported on Erik ten Hag revealing he wants Victor Osimhen to replace embattled Ronaldo.

The five-time Ballon d'Or winner's contract at Old Trafford is set to expire at the end of the ongoing season.

Osimhen is currently in hot form with Napoli, having already scored nine goals in just 13 Serie A matches so far.
