Manchester United winger Antony shared a heartwarming moment with his family after he was named in Brazil's final squad for the World Cup.

Antony was named in Tite's 26-man squad for the upcoming tournament after convincing Brazil's coach with his performances in England's topflight league.

In a video posted on social media, the 22-year-old and his family were monitoring the announcement on TV when the forward's name was mentioned.

Antony jumped in excitement as he celebrated with his brothers and father in his Manchester apartment.

"For you!!! Thank you, God!! Thank you everyone… friends, family, mom, dad, brothers!! Love you!!! Too much emotion!!," wrote the winger on Twitter.

The left-footed winger joined the Red Devils in the summer transfer window from Ajax and has since been a key part of Erik Ten Hag's team.

The former Ajax player is joined by teammates Casimero and Fred in the team for the Mundial.

Brazil have been named in Group G alongside Cameroon, Serbia and Switzerland.

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Richarlison broke down to tears of joy after hearing his name in the final 26-man squad of Brazil for the World Cup in Qatar.

Having played a role in the qualifiers under coach Tite, the Tottenham star was unsure of his position in the star-studded Brazilian team.

However, his consistent goal scoring form in the Yellow and Blue jersey of Brazil has earned him a place in the squad.

Antony scores on Manchester United debut

Antony scored on his dream debut for Manchester United as the Brazilian's clinical strike and Marcus Rashford's double inspired a 3-1 win that ended Arsenal's perfect start to the Premier League season on Sunday.

Antony was making his first appearance after signing from United manager Erik ten Hag's former club Ajax in an £82 million ($94 million) deal on Thursday.

Full of flicks, tricks and purposeful movement, the 22-year-old forward took just 35 minutes to get on the scoresheet in a dazzling introduction to his new fans at Old Trafford.
