  • A crazy stat has revealed Cristiano Ronaldo has fallen off significantly this season compared to last season
  • The 37-year-old's shot conversion rate, drastically dropped to five-per-cent this season compared to 16 last season
  • The Manchester United star scored 18 goals in the Premier League last season, while he's scored just one this season
  • Ronaldo has had a turbulent season at the club after he was recently exiled from the team after refusing to come on as a substitute

Cristiano Ronaldo is not having a good season at Manchester United so far. The 37-year-old has scored just three goals for the club in 14 games.

The legendary forward has had a second turbulent season at Old Trafford since he returned to the club last season.

Ronaldo asked to leave United, missed the entire preseason, and was confined to the bench, with manager Erik ten Hag preferring Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial.

Ronaldo then had a feud with Ten Hag a few weeks ago. According to BBC, Ronaldo refused to come on against Tottenham Hotspur on 19th October and then proceeded to walk off the pitch before the match ended.

The Portuguese was then banished from the team by Ten Hag and forced to train alone, according to the Guardian.

Telling Ronaldo stat

According to the Sun, Ronaldo's conversion rate is worse than last season's. The Portugal captain converted just five per cent of his shots.

Last season, Ronaldo scored 18 goals in 30 Premier League games last season, ending as the club's top scorer. This was a 16% conversion rate, but it has drastically dropped significantly.

This season, Ronaldo has just one goal in nine appearances. His performances have coincided with fans and pundits heavily criticising him, saying the team plays better without him.

Ronaldo fails to do Antony's spin

Sports Brief earlier reported on Cristiano Ronaldo attempting and hilariously failing to do Antony's 360-degree spin.

As the players warmed up ahead of United's encounter with West Ham, Ronaldo attempted Antony's trademark skill but failed miserably. The five-time Ballon d'Or winner only managed a half-rotation before the ball slipped out of his control.
