"Kevin can be better. He is not playing at his top level. A fantastic goal but he is not playing at his best. He knows this. I don’t have to tell him. His dynamic is not perfect. I spoke with him. The goal is outstanding and thanks to him we didn’t suffer in the final minutes."

The Belgian has 9 assists this term, the best in the division. He has struck a wonderful partnership with Haaland as the Cityzens aim to defend their Premier League crown as well as win their first Champions League title.

De Bruyne copies Roberto Firmino's celebration after scoring a stunner

Sports Brief had earlier reported that Manchester City star midfielder Kevin De Bruyne pulled off a funny celebration style after scoring a stunning goal versus Brighton, which sealed a convincing 3-1 win over the Seagulls.

De Bruyne pulled Roberto Firmino's famous eye patch celebration leaving fans to wonder why he decided to do the celebration.

De Bruyne was spotted with a heavily bruised eye, drawing mixed reactions from fans on social media. He was hit in the face with a ball in training.
