The Paris Saint-Germain attacker also proved that he could amaze fans with his misses as well.

That was the case when PSG took on AC Ajaccio in Ligue 1 as Mbappé scored a beauty but also missed an absolute sitter.

The Frenchman opened the scoring for the visitors in the 24th minute of the game when he ran onto a Lionel Messi through ball and produced a clinical finish to find the back of the net.

With the ease with which he scored, many would have been forgiven for thinking that Mbappé could replicate his form in front of the goal not long afterwards.

In the 37th minute of the game, Achraf Hakimi tore down the field and squared the ball across to Mbappé to score. The Frenchman had an empty net to score in but somehow blazed the ball over the bar.

Naturally, social media was left stunned by the miss, with many describing it as the miss of the year.
