The manager of Cypriot club Omonia Nicosia, Neil Lennon, was fired days after their Europa League loss to Manchester United.
Nicosia announced shortly after their home loss to Nea Salamis that Lennon had been relieved of his duties after seven months in charge.
They are currently seventh in the Division One table, but on the continent, they almost got a point against United before Scott McTominay scored in stoppage time.

Meanwhile, Uzoho was unarguably the Cypriot side's hero for the night during their Europa League clash with Man United at Old Trafford.
The Nigerian international turned into prime Gianluigi Buffon as he pulled a string of stunning saves to deny United a sniff at the goal.

Sports Brief earlier reported that Nigerian coach Folabi Ojekunle has encouraged those in charge of Premier League side Manchester United to go for the signing of Super Eagles goalkeeper Francis Uzoho.
This comes after Uzoho produced a fantastic performance while featuring for his club, Omonia, on Thursday night, October 13, in the Europa League against the Red Devils.
Ojekunle, who is a London-trained coach, explained that Uzoho has shown the world his ability and wants the goalkeeper to move to Man United.
