Legendary Italian defender, Alessandro Nesta, has revealed how to stop free-scoring Manchester City forward Erling Haaland.
Erling Haaland has been unstoppable in the ongoing campaign, having scored 19 goals in 11 games for the Manchester City across all competitions.
However, Nesta revealed he has stopped players who were more of a threat than the Norwegian forward.
"I can play him, because I played against Ronaldo the Brazilian," he said when asked if he could stop Haaland.

"Haaland is very good but Ronaldo was something different. I played against Messi, I played against Ronald but the Brazilian Ronaldo was just different," he added.
He, however, schooled defenders on how to handle strikers like Erling Halaand.
"I try to say stay close to him. Too much space and you are dead," continued Nesta.
Nesta was one of the best defenders to play the game and his partnership with Paolo Maldini at AC Milan brought the Italian giants success for many years. He won several Serie A titles as well as the UEFA Champions League.
