Šeško appeared on the transfer wishlist of Premier League giants Manchester United, however, the Slovenian forward opted to join RB Leipzig. The 19-year-old striker will join the German Bundesliga club in July 2023.

Running onto a floated pass from Petar Stojanovic, Šeško unleashed a spectacular pile drive on his favourite left foot which zoomed straight into the top corner.

His wonder goal was not enough to secure all three points as future-teammate Emil Forsberg levelled the score just before halftime as Sweden shared the spoils with Šeško's Slovenia.

The German outfit have agreed on a fee with Chelsea for Timo Werner and are now edging closer to signing Benjamin Šeško from the Austrian side Red Bull Salzburg.

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano took to Twitter to confirm that Leipzig were closing in on a deal to bring the 19-year-old striker to Germany in the summer of 2023.
