Patrice Evra has finally decided which country between Ghana and Nigeria has the best jollof.

The former France and Manchester United defender tasted Ghana jollof during his visit of the country.

In a video posted on social media, the Senegal-born ex-France international, testified that Ghana jollof is better than Nigerian jollof. According to Evra Ghana jollof is next to Senegalese jollof.

“It’s not like I want to be your judge but you know I’m really honest,” he said in a video shared on his Twitter page.

“My Nigerian people, I love you, but I’m sorry the Ghana jollof is the closest to the Senegal jollof. Don’t get me wrong, we invented the jollof. This is the closest one.
“So I’m asking you which one you prefer, the Ghana jollof or the Nigeria jollof? Sorry, but I already made my choice.”

The 41-year-old has been in Senegal, Nigeria and Cameroon as part of his tour of the continent.

Patrice Evra regrets picking France over Senegal

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that former Manchester United defender Patrice Evra has revealed that if he had the chance to make a decision on his international career, he would have played for Senegal.

Evra, who was born in Dakar, ended up playing for the French national team.

However, it was a decision he regrets, insisting there was too much politics in representing an European country as a player with dual citizenship.

The France and Manchester United legend was given a rapturous welcome at the Kotoko International Airport as he touched down for his tour of Africa.

In a video posted on social media, Evra who was stunned by the reception, admitted he is ready to taste Ghanaian jollof.
