Manchester United Legend and Sky Sports pundit Gary Neville has slammed US ownership in English football saying, it will destroy the very fabric of the game.

Neville was most probably targeting Chelsea owner Todd Boehly's proposition to introduce American style Al-Star game pitting northern teams against southern clubs.

In a Tweet Neville said that bringing American sporting models to English football will mess with the pyramid and the fabric of the sport in the UK.

Chelsea American owner, Boehly, who purchased the club a few months ago says that introducing the All-Star game like in the NBA and MLB will increase revenue.

Neville has been the biggest critic of the Glazers, who are American at Manchester United, saying they have massively contributed to the club's decline in the last decade. He says that with Sir Jim Ratcliffe intention to buy the club, they have to sell.
