  • Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti has named four players who will likely retire at the club
  • According to the Los Blancos manager, Karim Benzema, Luka Modric, Toni Kroos and Nacho Fernandez will end their career at the Bernabeu
  • Real Madrid will lock horns against Real Betis at home in the Spanish top division on Saturday

The summer transfer window came to a shut on Friday with Real Madrid not signing or transferring a player on the deadline day.

The Los Blancos completed the signings of Antonio Rudiger and Aurelin Tchouameni earlier this summer, while several veterans like Marcelo, Gareth Bale, and Isco left following their Champions League triumph.

In recent weeks, Brazil international Casemiro and Serbian star Luka Jovic have all left Santiago Bernabeu to ply their trade in the Premier League and Serie A respectively.

And ahead of their crucial La Liga clash against fellow league leaders Real Betis, the Italian gaffer has suggested that some Real Madrid players will possibly retire at the club.

"Luka Modric and Karim Benzema? Their future is very clear. If they want to stay they'll stay here until the end of their career. Same for Toni Kroos and Nacho. This is what the club wants," Carlo Ancelotti has said during a presser.

The contracts of Benzema, Modric, Kroos and Nacho will expire in 2023. The Los Blancos will reportedly extend Benzema's deal, who is as crucial to the club as Modric.

The Croatian midfielder seems immune to the effects of aging and is due to turn 37 this season. His deal extension will depend on how he performs this season.

Kroos and Nacho, however, are not certain about continuing their career with the White Angels.

Video of Real Madrid Players Using New Technology To Perfect Their Free Kicks Emerge

Sports Brief had earlier reported that Spanish giants Real Madrid have dropped a video of their players using new technology at their training ground to improve their players’ free-kick technique.

The Los Blancos have had a problem with free-kick taking since the departure of Cristiano Ronaldo, Gareth Bale and Sergio Ramos.

Ever since the trio left, the White Angels have not had a clear free-kick expert even though they had a dip in their free-kick-taking artistry at the end of their career at the Santiago Bernabeu.
