Nigerian international Odion Ighalo was on the score sheet as Al Hilal defeated Al Feiha 2-0 in the Saudi professional league on Wednesday night.

The Super Eagles striker faced off with fellow compatriot Anthony Nwakaeme who recently joined Al Feiha on a two-year deal.

The highly-entertaining encounter saw both teams slug it out as the league leaders got their pound of flesh against the Saudi King’s Cup champions.

Moussa Marega broke the deadlock in the 69th minute of the encounter before Ighalo sealed the win with his side’s second goal in the 86 minute.

Soccernet reports that the Nigerian international forward had a bit of fortune to thank as he poked home a scramble to double Al Hilal’s advantage.

Al Feiha will hope to have their Nigerian forward on the mark soon as he has had a beautiful goalscoring record in his nomadic career.

Al Feiha unveil Nwakaeme

Meanwhile, Nigerian international Anthony Nwakaeme joined Saudi Cup reigning kings Al Feiha after his contract with Turkish club Trabzonspor expired this summer.

The 33-year-old could not agree to a deal with the Turkish club following the expiration of his contract, as he had to leave.

Nwakaeme, who once had a stint with Hapoel Beer Sheva, helped Trabzonspor emerge as league winners for the first time in 38 years.

He was linked with a number of clubs, including Galatasaray, but the Nigerian attacker has decided to pen a deal with Al Fayhaa on a two-year deal till 2024.

Samuel Chukwueze set for a loan move to Everton

Sports Brief earlier reported that Everton have not been fantastic so far this season, and Frank Lampard, who is the manager, is looking forward to bolster his squad with Samuel Chukwueze.

According to the report on Complete Sports, Everton chiefs are ready to pay Villarreal their asking price for them to have Samuel Chukwueze.

Chukwueze has struggled for regular playing time at the club, with Spaniard Yemeni Pino ahead of him in the pecking order.
