Nigerian Striker Moves to Viktoria Plzen From Kwara Utd, Set to Face Barca, Bayern in UCL
Earlier, Sports Brief had reported how Nigerian striker Alao Danbani completed a mega million move to Czech professional football club Viktoria Plzen from Nigerian Professional Football League side Kwara United.
The former ABS star was in good form for Kwara United last season in the first stanza netting 7 goals even though he did not find scoring easy in the second round of the term.
And at the end of the season, Ala Danbani was named as the best Kwara United player of the season beating the likes of Afeez Nasiru, Jide Fatokun, Samad Kadiri and Ejeh.
Those in charge of Viktoria Plzen actually began their talks to sign Alao Danbani since match-day 19 of the 2021/22 Nigerian League before they concluded at the end of the term.
The biggest gain in this move for Alao Danbani is that the Nigerian striker will be able to play in the Champions League for the 2022/23 season.
Viktoria Plzen are in Group C where they will face Bayern Munich, Inter Milan and Barcelona.
