Talented Italian striker Andrea Belotti has been tipped to join a Premier League side after his contract with Torino came to an end last season.

Belotti is still in his prime as far as his career is concerned, but endured a disappointing campaign in 2021/22.

In fact, it was his poorest spell in seven years in the Serie A, and that slump could have been the reason Torino opted against renewing his contract once it came to an end.

Regardless, Belotti remains a regular for Roberto Mancini’s Italy national side, owing to his prowess in front of goal.

According to The Sun, the likes of Newcastle United, Everton and West Ham could be tempted to take up hiss services as all three Premier League clubs are in need of an outright goal scorer.

For Everton, they are yet to replace Richarlison, who recently completed the move to Tottenham Hotspur, while Newcastle could be forced into other alternatives after their bid to acquire Hugo Ekitike from Reims hit a snag as the Frenchman instead moved to PSG on loan.

West Ham also need a striker to support Michail Antonio, who had to carry the burden of his team’s goals upfront for majority of last season, eventually losing steam in the second half of the campaign.

The Hammers have previously been linked with Chelsea’s Armando Broja and Sassuolo forward Gianluca Scamacca, and they also missed out on Jesse Lingard, who has since joined Nottingham Forest.
