The Borussia Dortmund striker isn’t letting the situation get him down and is putting up a positive front.
The Ivory Coast international took to social media to share a photo of him after completing the first step of his treatment and to express his appreciation to Borussia Dortmund who have been “exceptional” with him.

Haller pulled out of Dortmund's pre-season training camp after he complained that he felt unwell and was immediately taken for tests and was soon diagnosed with a testicular tumour.
Messages of support have been pouring in from former and current players alike for the striker, as well as from teams and managers.
Dortmund also took to social media recently to collate all of Haller’s well wishes in one tribute post.
Former West Ham United player Trevor Sinclair is also using Haller’s diagnosis to spread the importance of men checking themselves regularly for any signs of testicular cancer, TalkSport reported.
“I’d just like to send a message to the boys – just check down below, you’ve got to check down below and make sure everything seems alright,” he said.
