Bruno Fernandes has provided an update on the future of Cristiano Ronaldo at Manchester United.
Ronaldo has been the subject of transfer speculation in recent weeks, with the Man United attacker linked with a potential summer exit.
According to Metro UK, the five-time Ballon d’Or winner informed United chiefs of his desire to leave the club earlier in the month.
The 37-yer-old has since been missing in action and is yet to link up with his United teammates for the pre-season.

Fernandes has now cast doubt on Ronaldo’s Old Trafford future, with the midfielder admitting he does not know if the former Real Madrid forward will continue with the Red Devils.
Despite the uncertainty, the midfielder insisted that Ronaldo must be afforded time and space to decide his future.
"Obviously, we have to respect the decision of everyone," Fernandes said as quoted by The Mirror.
"I don’t know what Cristiano said to the club, to the manager, I don’t know what’s going on in his, but we have to respect his space.
"From everything we know, he had some family problems, so we have to respect his space," he added.
