Cristiano Ronaldo will not take part in Manchester United’s pre-season tour of Asia and Australia as the forward has still not resumed pre-season training with the club.

Ronaldo has sighted family issues as the reason for staying back in Portugal and has missed four consecutive days of pre-season training under new manager Erik ten Hag.

Manchester United has now confirmed the player will not make the trip to Asia and Australia for their pre-season tour rather as the team jets out of England on Friday, July 8th Daily Mirror reports.

The Premier League giants have also decided against punishing the 37-year-old forward for staying back in Portugal but are rather concerned with resolving the striker's immediate future.
