Atletico Madrid players are having their energies zapped after undergoing intense drilling in their preseason training at Los Angeles de San Rafael by manager Diego Simeone.
The Rojiblancos have been in the mountains towards Segovia for a traditional two-week training camp as they finetune preparations ahead of the new season.
According to Sport Bible, Atleti's fitness coach, Oscar Ortega, had a special ramp area built behind the training pitch for the squad to be beasted as several drills were outlined for the players.

Top Atleti stars including Griezman, Carrasco and Lemar were required to sprint up the 50 metres, 30% slope as the scorching hot sun beams down on them.
Players were extremely exhausted after the session as video footage online shows them looking completely shattered and breathing heavily.
Atletico Madrid preseason schedule includes friendlies against Numancia and Manchester United before their opening La Liga game against Getafe on 15th August.
Axel Witsel signs for Atletico Madrid
Meanwhile, Atletico Madrid have completed the signing of Belgium midfielder, Axel Witsel from Bundesliga side Borussia Dortmund.
The 33-year-old midfielder is the Rojiblancos first signing of the summer as he arrives the Spanish capital on a free transfer after four seasons with Borussia Dortmund Football Espana reports.
Atletico Madrid announced the signing of Witsel on Wednesday, July 13 and the Belgian will join the likes of Geoffrey Kondogbia, Rodrigo de Paul, Saul Niguez and Koke in midfield for Diego Simeone’s team.

Earlier, Sports Brief reported Atletico Madrid will have a new stadium name when the 2022/23 football season kickstarts after sealing a mega million deal with Real Estate conglomerate Civitas Pacensis.
The 11-time Spanish La Liga champions ended its previous deal worth €10 million per year with Chinese firm Wanda which lasted for 5 years.
Atletico Madrid will now rename its home stadium to Estadio Civitas Metropolitano after signing a 5-year-deal with Civitas Pacensis.
