CAF has confirmed its shortlist for the various categories of awards ahead of the 2022 CAF Awards.
The ceremony will be held in Morocco on Thursday, 21 July just days after the Africa Women Cup of Nations wraps up in the North African nation.

Banyana Banyana's charge for undisputed dominance of the African continent has been recognised.
As reported by Sports Brief, six players from the national women's team have been nominated for the CAF Player of the Year award. It was also reported that they are Andile Dlamini, Bambanani Mbane, Thembi Kgatlana, Jermaine Seoposenwe, Refiloe Jane and Linda Motlhalo.
All the nominees are currently campaigning at the 2022 Africa Women Cup of Nations tournament being hosted by Morocco.
