Cape Town City is a football club based in Cape Town, South Africa. The club was initially formed in 1962 and later reformed in 2016. The club was reformed when a South African former professional footballer and a businessman, John Comitis, bought the franchise rights of defunct Mpumalanga Black Aces F.C.

He then relocated the team with the franchise license in Cape Town City—in that case now reviving the Cape Town City Football club. The club uses its historical grounds, Hartleyvale Stadium, for practice. The owner, John, announced plans to reinvigorate the historic place to be home ground again soon.
