Pitso Mosimane is in no rush to return to coaching.

The South African tactician admitted that he was happy to take a break for a while, emulating other managers like Zinedine Zidane, Pep Guardiola and Carlo Ancelotti.

During an interview with Kaya959, Mosimane explained that he would get back into coaching when he felt like it, The South African reported.

“I’m happy to take a break. I’m happy to wake up at 11 am and I’m happy that I’m not accountable to anybody at this point in time. I’ll get back to coaching when I feel like I want to go back,” he said.

“Sometimes you have to take a step back. Big coaches like Pep Guardiola and Carlo Ancelotti have done that. Zinedine Zidane won three Champions League titles but he’s not coaching now, he added.

Mosimane added that it was a difficult decision to make but that he left voluntarily. As reported by KingFUT, his decision came as a shock to many.

Mosimane spent two years at the Egyptian side before leaving, leading them to three CAF Champions League finals in a row and two consecutive FIFA Club World Cups.

Mosimane won an impressive seven titles with the side before his shock departure.
