  • Neymar is said to be against Paris Saint-Germain's efforts to move him on in an effort to balance the books as dictated by Financial Fair Play Rules
  • PSG need to let go of a couple of players after giving Kylian Mbappe a hefty new contract and Neymar is one of the players earmarked for sale
  • The club is set to undergo further changes with the future of manager Mauricio Pochettino increasingly under focus with many reports suggesting he will be sacked

Paris Saint-Germain superstar Neymar has once again reportedly declined a chance to leave the club. Neymar has in the past expressed his desire to see out the new contract he signed which runs to 2025.

PSG are desperately looking to offload some player so that they can be able to balance their books. Neymar has been placed on top of the list of the players likely to leave, given his big status and potential fee.

There's no denying that the Brazilian forward is a world-class footballer and many clubs will be interested to have him. The only stumbling block will be his hefty salary. Marca reports that he is currently on 50 million euros per season.

The Qatari-backed club wants to balance its books after offering Kylian Mbappe the biggest deal ever in football. Mbappe was destined to join Real Madrid on a free transfer and the owners had to dig deep to convince the striker to stay put.

Neymar has no interest whatsoever in quitting the club at this stage. This is a sharp contrast to a few years back where he was ready to pay his own transfer fees to force a move back to Barcelona.

Kylian Mbappe spotted in Morocco with Achraf Hakimi

At the same time, Sports Brief had reported that Kylian Mbappé has been sighted in Morocco for the summer holidays in the company of Paris Saint-Germain teammate Achraf Hakimi.

Mbappé, who was embroiled in a transfer saga last month following his botched move to Real Madrid, selected Morocco's red city, Marrakech as his holiday destination after a long season.

The 23-year-old caused a massive stir with his contract extension at PSG with earlier reports suggesting he was heading to Real Madrid only to extend his stay at the Parc de Princes till 2025.
