PSG Superstar Kylian Mbappé Spotted in Morocco’s Red City, Marrakech for Holidays

Kylian Mbappé has been sighted in Morocco for the summer holidays in the company of Paris Saint-Germain teammate Achraf Hakimi.

Mbappé, who was embroiled in a transfer saga last month following his botched move to Real Madrid, selected Morocco's red city, Marrakech as his holiday destination after a long season.

The 23-year-old caused a massive stir with his contract extension at PSG with earlier reports suggesting he was heading to Real Madrid only to extend his stay at the Parc de Princes till 2025.

In photos posted on Twitter, sighted by Sports Brief, the 2018 FIFA World Cup winner was pictured alongside close ally and club teammate Hakimi as the duo while away time at various tourist centres in Marrakech.

It is not the first time the Frenchman is holidaying in Morocco, following his earlier visit to the North African country in 2020 to celebrate the New Year holiday in the red city where he was seen enjoying a camel ride.

Over the past year, Mbappé has developed a close friendship with Moroccan full-back Achraf Hakimi with the pair pictured earlier in Madrid following the end of the French season.

Mbappé, a long-term target for Real Madrid, was reportedly on the cusp of switching Ligue 1 for the La Liga however, the 2018 World Cup winner ended up extending his deal with the Parisians till 2025.

According to the celebrated president of Real Madrid, Mbappé was bent on joining the 14-time European champions only for the 23-year-old to change his mind at the eleventh hour.
