Senegal head coach Aliou Cissé has waded into the discussion of Sadio Mane's uncertain future at Liverpool.

Mane, whose current deal with Liverpool runs out in the summer of 2023, is reportedly angling for a move away from Anfield with Bayern Munich leading the race to secure the services of the 2021 AFCON winner.

Meanwhile, Bayern Munich has seen their first two bids for the Senegal talisman brutally turned down by Liverpool, who were not impressed by the strange add-ons in the initial offer.

Despite Liverpool's hardball, Aliou Cisse reckons Bayern Munich will be the best destination for Mane.

“Bayern is intensity, pressure football with a German coach," notes the 46-year-old tactician in an interview with the Senegalese daily Source A as quoted by Sports News Africa.

Aliou Cissé adds: “Sadio played in Salzburg in Austria, which is a border country, and that means that he is not going into unknown territory. For me, the club where he will feel the best is Bayern."
