Netherlands on Wednesday night, 8 June, recorded their second win in the ongoing Nations League encounter as they defeated Wales 2-1 in what was a tough game.

Having lost their first game against Poland, Wales players were determined to get to winning ways, but they were unable to get a good result against Netherlands.

Wales started the encounter impressively and Harry Wilson almost got the opener for them in the 7th minute, but his shot was saved by goalkeeper Mark Flekken.

The first half however ended goalless with both teams unable to find the back of the net.

When did Netherlands score their goal?

Teun Koopmeiners scored the first goal for Holland in the 50th minute, but Rhys Norrington-Davies restored parity for Wales at the death.

And when Wales though they had gotten a draw in the encounter, Wout Weghorst scored the winner for Netherlands.

Meanwhile, transfer market expert Nico Schira disclosed talks between AS Roma and Lecce is at advanced stages.
