  • Super Eagles midfielder Wilfred Ndidi could be on his way to Manchester United before the start of next season
  • This is if Manchester United chiefs should listen to their legend Paul Scholes who wants them to sign Ndidi
  • With Paul Paul and Jesse Lingard leaving Manchester United, the club will be looking for replacements this summer

Paul Scholes has urged those in charge of Premier League side Manchester United to sign Nigerian midfielder Wilfred Ndidi claiming that the 25-year-old would fit in at Old Trafford.

Having failed to qualify for the Champions League for next season and also their inability to win any title under Ralf Rangnick, new Man United gaffer Erik Hag will have big job to do.

According to the reports on GOAL and Punch, Paul Scoles who won 11 Premier League titles at Man United believes Ndidi would be a great addition in the Red Devils' squad.

Paul Scholes' statement about Wilfred Ndidi

“Leicester’s Wilfred Ndidi still very much fits the bill of what Man United are looking for, and with just two years remaining on his contract at Leicester, it’s likely to cost significantly less than the eye-watering sums associated with him in summer past.
“And while he missed the last two months of the season with a knee injury, he remains one of the best defensive midfielders in the game.''

Ndidi kicks off vacation in style as Super Eagles star spotted at an Island resort

Earlier, Sports Brief had reported how Super Eagles midfielder Wilfred Ndidi decided to spend some time cooling off after a long season with Leicester City in the English Premier League.

The 25-year-old midfielder has started his vacation and has gone to some remote island where he could be seen having some fun in the sea.

Ndidi who is presently recovering from a knee injury picked up late in the season posted pictures of himself in a boat on his social media page.

The Nigerian midfielder was not listed in the Super Eagles team ahead of their upcoming 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Sierra Leone and Sao Tome and Principe later on June 9 and June 13 respectively.
