The Black Stars will immediately move to their hotel, before later training at the Estádio da Cidadela ahead of the clash on Sunday.

Ghana would be aiming to chalk a second successive win after smashing Madagascar 3-0 in the opening game of the 2023 AFCON qualifiers on Wednesday evening.

Meanwhile, the Central Africa Republic stumbled to a 2-1 away defeat to Angola on the opening day of qualifiers and would be hoping to put their campaign back on track with an unlikely win against a resurgent Ghana side.

Ghana embarked on the trip with a contingent of 25 players which features three goalkeepers, seven defenders six midfielders and nine attackers.

Sports Brief earlier reported that the senior men's national team of Ghana, Black Stars have enplanned to Angola ahead of their second group game against the Central Africa Republic (CAR).

Ghana kicked off their quest for Africa Cup of Nations qualification on a flying note after the four-time African champions brushed aside Madagascar on Wednesday, June 1.

Goals from budding stars Felix Afena-Gyan and Mohammed Kudus, and the icing on the cake by Osman Bukari gave the Black Stars all three points at stake, putting them at the summit of Group E on goal difference.
