Harambee Stars fullback Eric Marcelo Ouma delivered a world-class assist to help his AIK side beat Helsinborgs in a Swedish top-flight game on Sunday.

Ouma retrieved the ball in his own half before embarking on a marauding run forward, sprinting nearly the full length of the pitch. He then released a teasing cross into the box which was scored by Jordan Larsson.

AIK won the game 2-1 with former Arsenal midfielder Sebastian Larson scoring the other goal for AIK. Helsinborgs scored their consolation goal through Anthony van den Hurk in the first half. The result took AIK to second place with 23 points. They are tied on points with Hacken who have played a game less.

The other players on the AIK roster, Collins Shichenje and Henry Mejja were not part of the matchday squads.

Brian Mandela wins treble with Mamelodi Sundowns

In South Africa, Brian Mandela completed a domestic treble as Mamelodi Sundowns won the Nedbank Cup. Sundowns beat Marumo Gallants 2-1 in a game that was decided in extra time.

Onyango started the game but only lasted 42 minutes after suffering an injury. Peter Shalulile had put the Brazilians ahead in the 33rd minute before Gallants rallied to equalize through Sede Junior Dion in the second half.

The game was perfectly poised to go to post-match penalty shootouts only for Thapelo Morena to score in the 120th minute. The Nedbank Cup becomes the third title won by Sundowns after victories in the Premier Soccer League and MTN Tournament.

In Thailand, Ayub Timbe registered similar success as his Buriram United side won the domestic treble. Buriram beat Prachuap 4-0 to win the Thai League Cup for the sixth time.

Timbe started the game but was withdrawn after 78 minutes with Suphanat Mueanta taking his place.
