Former Ghana captain Asamoah Gyan seems to have started taking baby steps in coaching after he was spotted dishing out instructions to a young player.
The ex-Sunderland striker has not hidden his desire to enter into coaching after his career but could not let the opportunity slip while watching a talented footballer in a game in Accra.
In a video posted on social media, sighted by Sports Brief, Gyan is seen coaching the young footballer on how to convert chances.
In the video, Asamoah Gyan is seen telling the youngster, who is known as Emmanuel Mensah, to keep the pressure off himself and should shoot when he is in good positions.
Asamoah Gyan is revered in Ghana for his goal scoring prowess, having led the attack of the national team for over a decade.

The 36-year-old has expressed his interest in serving on the Black Stars technical team as strikers' coach.
He made this assertion in an interview with Accra-based television network Citi TV, underlining his readiness by revealing he has drawn plans to acquire his coaching badges in the coming months.
