United States-based club FC Cincinnati 2 has announced the acquisition of Accra Hearts of Oak midfielder Salim Adams on a loan deal.
The MLS Next Pro outfit announced the deal via the club's official Twitter account, sighted by Sports Brief, with the deal running through 2022 with an option to purchase permanently.
Salim joins FC Cincinnati 2 as a part of the relationships forged between FC Cincinnati, German Bundesliga side TSG Hoffenheim, and reigning Ghanaian champions Hearts of Oak.
He is the first player to arrive from the Ghanaian outfit as a part of the Common Value Club Alliance.
The budding midfielder made 23 appearances for Hearts of Oak, scoring three goals, including a stunning long-range drive on his debut for the Phobians.

Hearts of Oak midfielder Sulley Muntari linked to South African giants
Earlier, Sports Brief reported that in a transfer rumour to end all transfer rumours on the South African football scene, former Ghana midfielder Sulley Muntari was linked with a move to Soweto giants Orlando Pirates.
Muntari, a former Inter and AC Milan player, is currently on the books of Ghanaian Premier League giants Hearts of Oak.
According to a Soccer Laduma article, reports in Ghana media also suggested that Egyptian giants Al Ahly were looking at acquiring his services. This is despite Muntari turning 38 in December.
