Stellenbosch easily beat Swallows FC 4-1 on Saturday to move to 55 points. Orlando Pirates thumped Marumo Gallants 4-0 to make it a 54-point haul thus far.

Free-scoring Stellenbosch, for a surprising change, failed to score again in a 0-1 draw against SuperSport United. Pirates was poor again in a costly 2-3 loss against Mamelodi Sundowns, missing out on a win that would have put them back on top of the table.
