Ghanaian teen sensation Abdul Fatawu Issahaku has heaped praises on Cristiano Ronaldo's mother Maria Dolores dos Santos Aveiro following their meeting in Lisbon.
Issahaku, who joined Sporting Lisbon last week, has been acclimatizing to life in Europe and is raring to go for the Portuguese giants after he stepped up training with the first team.
In a post on Twitter, spotted by Sports Brief, Fatawu Issahaku and Maria Dolores shared a lovely moment together at Sporting Lisbon's headquarters.
According to the 18-year-old attacker, Ronaldo's mum, who is a staunch fan of Sporting Lisbon, is a motivator.
Who is Ronaldo's mum?
Maria Dolores dos Santos Aveiro is football legend, Cristiano Ronaldo's biological mother. She spends much of her time raising her grandchildren.
Maria Dolores is also the owner of a restaurant in Brazil named Casa Aveiro.
The 67-year-old usually watches son Cristiano Ronaldo at his games and continually visits Ronaldo's first club, Sporting Lisbon.
Abdul Fatawu Issahaku begins first-team training with Sporting Lisbon
Ghanaian youngster Fatawu Issahaku has started training with the senior team of Portuguese giants Sporting CP.
The player, who turned 18 last month, inked a five-year deal with the Primeira Liga side as he begins his career in Europe.
Isaahaku was then presented to the Sporting CP fans at the club’s stadium with thousands showing up to see their new player.
