According to SuperSport, the seasoned broadcaster and football expert will help front up several of the broadcaster’s football properties, lending his expertise and enthusiasm to its sports offering.

Mlambo's formidable experience in front of the camera includes anchoring football world cups for both SuperSport and the SABC, award shows, and anchoring big-match broadcasts.

Marc Jury, chief executive officer of SuperSport, said:

“Thomas is more than a world-class broadcaster. He is the epitome of professionalism, known as much for his insight as his warmth and good humour. We can’t wait to see him back doing what he does best.”

A delighted Mlambo said of his reappointment:

“SuperSport is where I began as a sport TV presenter and this opportunity to return is extremely exciting for me. I look forward to reconnecting with viewers across the African continent and to be part of one of the world's biggest sports broadcasters.”

Kaizer Chiefs looking to raise R20 million from offloading players at the end of the season

Kaizer Chiefs stands to raise around R20 million for its transfer war chest ahead of the 2022/23 season.

After last winning a trophy in 2015, various members are expected to be offloaded at the end of the season in May by the Amakhosi.

This would help the club greatly when it goes on a recruitment drive in trying to cure the seven-year-long itch for silverware.
