Raheem Sterling nets hat-trick as City thrash Norwich

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Manchester City on Saturday night, February 12, continued with their impressive performance this season in the Premier League by beating Norwich City 4-0 in front of their faithfuls.

Going into this Premier League game, Norwich City did not lose any game in four games even though they are still at the bottom of the table and they wanted to shine against the Citizens.

But Norwich met a more determined Manchester City side who are targeting retaining their Premier League title even though Liverpool are mounting pressure on them.

Manchester City's title chances dropping

Pep Guardiola has insisted the Premier League title race is not over despite Man City enjoying a 12-point lead at the top of the standings.

City had a golden chance to extend the lead to 14 points but blew up that opportunity after they settled for a frustrating 1-1 draw with Southampton on Saturday, January 22.

The draw came just days after Guardiola's charges stunned Chelsea 1-0 to secure their 12th straight Premier League win - a result that had many suggest the title race is done and dusted.
