Former Black Stars captain, Asamoah Gyan says the game between Ghana and Nigeria in the World Cup play-off is hard to predict.
Nigeria come into the game on a good run of form after winning three games and losing one at the Africa Cup of Nation while Ghana were winless at the tournament in Cameroon.
However, the legendary Ghanaian forward insists the rivalry between the two countries goes beyond form.
"Ghana and Nigeria is rivalry, you cannot predict. Anybody can win so we just have to stay focus and do what they have to do on the field, that is it," he said in an interview with Tv3.
The Black Stars arrived in town on Monday and travelled to Kumasi where the game will be played on Tuesday to continue preparations.
Ghana will host the Super Eagles on Friday night at the Baba Yara Sports stadium before travelling to Abuja four days later for the second-leg.
Black Stars hold first training in Kumasi
Earlier, Sports Brief reported that the senior national team of Ghana, the Black Stars, held their first training session in Kumasi ahead of their gigantic World Cup play-off against Nigeria.
The team led by coach Otto Addo arrived in Kumasi on Tuesday afternoon and wasted no time training a few hours later as preparations continue for the big game.
In photos posted on Twitter, spotted by Sports Brief, the players took to Baba Yara Stadium for the first time in five years, with their last appearance at the stadium coming against Congo on September 1, 2017.
